This happened at Toyon High School, Ere, in Ado Odo/Ota LG.
The teacher in question was severely beaten up while performing his official duty. He had asked a student to cut his bushy hair low, which resulted into her mother bringing in
thugs into the school compound to beat the teacher and also they vandalised his car.
Irony of things is that the parents of the students have filled and signed the undertaking forms designed by the State government.
Security agents have since arrested the woman and one of the thugs. They have since been arraigned at the Magistrate Court, Ado Odo. The presiding judge has asked that, although it is a bailable offence, they should be remanded in the prison
custody at Ilaro till 16th February, 2022 when the case would come up.
The security agents could not get the student, Joshua Joseph arrested immediately and has been declared wanted and should be made available at the next court sitting in February,
2022.
