President Tinubu has directed all cement manufacturers to revert to the previous price of cement, following a recent hike in prices.
Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, announced President Tinubu’s directive during a visit to the BUA cement factory in Sokoto on Thursday. During the visit, the Minister inspected the facility and met with company officials.
According to Umahi, President Tinubu directed the cement manufacturers to return to the pre-hike prices during a meeting held earlier this week.
“I want to encourage them to abide by the directive of Mr. President so that we can achieve massive housing programme and the renewed hope agenda of concrete roads of by the President,” he said
