PDP governors have called on President Bola Tinubu and the ruling APC to either find long-term solutions to Nigeria’s problems, or step aside and allow someone else to take the lead. They have suggested that the government is not effectively addressing the country’s challenges and that it is time for a new approach.

The PDP Governors’ Forum stressed that the current economic hardship affects all Nigerians regardless of their background or political affiliation. They expressed concern that the current situation is causing misery and anger among the population, and urged the government to take swift action to address the underlying issues.

The Director-General of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Hon. CID Maduabum, released a statement in Abuja over the weekend, urging President Tinubu and the APC to take immediate action to resolve the country’s challenges. The statement outlined specific recommendations for addressing the underlying issues.

In their statement, the PDP Governors reminded the APC-led administration that it was elected to solve Nigeria’s problems, not to make them worse or to deflect blame onto others. They warned against the use of disinformation to confuse or complicate the situation, urging the government to focus on finding solutions instead.

In a communiqué released after their meeting in Abuja, the PDP Governors’ Forum criticised the APC-led Federal Government, its Minister of Information, and other officials for their handling of the country’s situation. They called for more effective action and urged the government to heed their recommendations and patriotic intervention to address the nation’s challenges.
