Unknown gunmen have attacked the Isi-Uzo Divisional police station in Ikem in Enugu state. According to The Nation newspaper, the gunmen took with them the police arms and ammunition.
The attack was said to have occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.
The Nation further revealed the criminals stormed the unfenced police station at about 2 am on Tuesday with a Toyota Sienna vehicle, shouting, “Release Nnamdi Kanu,” “No Nnamdi Kanu, no peace”.
