Award winning investigative journalist, Fisayo Soyombo has challenged Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prompt his own media channels to organize a town hall of all Presidential candidates if he is uncomfortable attending those organized by others.
Soyombo on his Facebook post states that Asiwaju Tinubu owns both prints and electronic media outlets, all of which are capable either solely or jointly to host such avenue for all candidates to address the voting public about their programs.
“His not attend It’s not normal for anyone aspiring to the highest office in the land to not want to sit in a live debate to interact with Nigerians.
“I hope Tinubu’s media houses TheNation and TVC solve this quagmire for us by organising a live debate to be attended by their principal.
“By doing that, they will be rendering a huge service to the nation, worthy of a Nigerian National Merit Award.
If Tinubu doesn’t trust those two media houses enough to attend, he better shut them down!”
