OAU Hands Over Students To DSS For Alleged Involvement In Cultism

The division of student affairs of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has handed over some students to the Department of State Security Service for alleged involvement in Cultism.

According to the memo which was released by the division, Agbeja Ibukun, Ayinde Tosin and Nurudeen Bayo of the Department of Demography and social statistics, Biochemistry and Demography, and social statistics respectively have been invited and handed over to the DSS.

Information further reveals that one more student, Adegboye Olamilekan of the institute of Education, who is popularly known has Omo Alhaji was also handed over to the Department of State Security Service in Osogbo, the state capital.

The division advises all students to go about their normal activities as they promise that adequate measures has been put in place to fully secure lives and property within the University community as they also assures that the DSS is on top of the situation.
