Pelumi Nubi, a popular Nigerian travel blogger, was injured in a car crash while driving from London to Lagos. Nubi had been documenting the long journey on social media, sharing photos and videos from various stops along the way.

On Tuesday, Pelumi Nubi shared a photo of the badly damaged car she had been travelling in on her Instagram account. The car’s windscreen was shattered and the front of the vehicle was badly damaged.

She was also seen being carried in an ambulance in the footage.

Pelumi captioned the post: “Say a prayer for me”.

In November, Pelumi Nubi announced that she would be embarking on a solo journey from London to Lagos. She started the journey on January 30, with the goal of reaching Lagos by March 23. However, border issues in multiple countries caused delays, and Nubi was not allowed to enter either Liberia or Sierra Leone.
