Former Brazil and Real Madrid superstar Kaká’s ex-wife, Caroline Celico, has revealed the surprising reason behind their divorce. Speaking candidly, Celico explained that the decision to end their marriage was driven by Kaká’s intense perfectionism, saying ‘he was too perfect for me’.
Kaká and Caroline Celico’s marriage had seemed like a fairy-tale story, with the couple tying the knot in 2005 after a long-standing romance. However, beneath the surface, Caroline had been struggling with her feelings for years. In a candid reflection on her marriage, Caroline revealed that while she and Kaká were together for almost a decade, she could never shake the sense that something essential was missing in their relationship.
“Kaka never betrayed me, he treated me well, he gave me a wonderful family, but I was not happy, something was missing. The problem was, he was too perfect for me,” she said.
