Accounts of the tragic incident indicate that Joshua Èjuojo Daniel-Ejigbo was in the midst of an ordinary workout session at the university gymnasium when he suddenly began to display alarming symptoms. Around 9 pm on Tuesday evening, the student was observed foaming at the mouth and then abruptly collapsed, plunging his surrounding peers into a state of shock and fear. Efforts to resuscitate the student proved futile, marking a devastating loss for the university community and his grieving family.
At approximately 11 pm on Tuesday night, a source disclosed that the University made contact with the distraught parent, divulging the tragic news that his son had passed away in the campus gymnasium.
Amidst the ongoing investigation into the tragic death of Joshua Èjuojo Daniel-Ejigbo, human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju provided critical insights to the media outlet SaharaReporters. In an exclusive statement to the outlet, Adeyanju confirmed that the deceased student’s parents are increasingly skeptical of the circumstances surrounding their son’s demise, and have enlisted his legal counsel to seek justice and determine whether foul play or negligence played a role in the incident.
