Jesus Rises To Score On Easter Sunday As Arsenal Fail To Reestablish Eight Point Lead Over Man City

Arsenal failed to re-establish their eight-point lead over Manchester City after drawing 2-2 with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday evening.

Jurgen Klopp made five changes to the Liverpool side who drew 0-0 with Chelsea in midweek. The Reds started poorly and found themselves 2-0 down inside the opening 30 minutes courtesy of goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus.

However, it wasn’t to be for the visitors as Mohamed Salah started the fight back just before the interval. The Egyptian then missed a penalty, but his blushes were spared by Roberto Firmino who bagged his 11th goal against the Gunners deep in the second-half.

Aaron Ramsdale’s two saves in the last knockings ensured the Gunners make the journey back to north London with a point to show for their efforts
