Herbert Wigwe, Wife, and Son Laid to Rest in Solemn Memorial Service

The late Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe, his wife, Chizoba, and son, Chizi, have been laid to rest in a solemn ceremony held in their hometown of Isiokpo in Rivers State. Friends and family came together to pay their respects and remember the lives of these individuals.

The Wigwe family was laid to rest following a private burial ceremony after a funeral service in church.

The funeral service for Herbert Wigwe began at 11:00 AM today, with friends, colleagues, and well-wishers from around the world attending to pay their respects. Those who came to honor the life of this respected banker and philanthropist included people from the local community and beyond.

Notable figures in attendance at the funeral service included: Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, Nyesom Wike, business leader Aliko Dangote, HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II, Gov. Alex Otti, Gov. Dapo Abiodun, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and Gov. Babajide Sawno-Olu. Other captains of industry and business leaders were also present.

In addition to the prominent figures already mentioned, Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara and State Commissioner of Police Olatunji Disu were also in attendance. As the Chief Security Officer of the funeral ceremony, Disu’s presence was of particular importance.
