The Senator representing Abia South Senatorial Zone, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has again spoken, as he dragged the federal government for declaring the IPOB as a terrorist group, yet refused to declare the Killer herdsmen as a terrorist group too.
Senator Abaribe is a man loved by many. He started by listing out some of the injustices being meted out to the people of the south east. He started by making it known that there are sea ports in the old eastern region, but yet non is working, all because ships can’t pass through due to federal government’s refusal to work on it so that ships can pass through it.
According to the Abia born Senator, he made it known that there is a deliberate policy to bring the south east down by all means. He asked to know why would someone doing business in Onitsha would travel to Lagos just to clear his goods
He went on and made it known that because of all these injustices being meted out on the people of the south east are not happy. Senator Abaribe made it known that there are two sets of people in the region, those who wants to keep negotiating with the FG for the issue to be resolved and those want to fight for their freedom.
He end by stating it categorically that he has sat on the floor of the senate chamber and asked to know, why the federal government has refused to declare the herdsmen who go about with AK-47 and killing people as terrorist, but they quickly declared the the IPOB as terrorists. He climaxed by make it known that in their mind they still see some people as there enemy and defeated people.
