The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested social media celebrity, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, and he is currently being detained at the EFCC’s Lagos command office.

Dele Oyewale, the spokesperson for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, has confirmed the arrest of Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, for currency mutilation and abuse of the Nigerian naira.

“He is with us. We arrested him over currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira. He is in our facility in Lagos state. ” Oyewale said.

Dele Oyewale added that Bobrisky will soon be charged to court, following his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Oyewale added that Bobrisky will face charges for currency mutilation and abuse of the Nigerian naira.
