The Court of Appeal has affirmed Lamidi Apapa as the authentic national chairman of the Labour Party (LP).

This was contained in a report released by PressExpress on Thursday stating that the court’s decision on follows a legal battle between Apapa and Julius Abure, who had been declared the LP chairman by an Appeal Court earlier in August.

Reports revealed further that the court also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to publish the names of all the candidates presented by the Apapa-led faction of the LP in the Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa State governorship elections.
