Bouncer kills secondary school student for picking money at a party

The Delta State police command has arrested one Francis Utuedor over the murder of a teenage boy at a wedding reception in Mofor, Udu council area of the Delta state. The unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at a hotel in the area.


According to reports, the deceased named, Oghenemaro Eriana, was trying to pick up money showered on the couple during the ceremony when the bouncer allegedly pounced on him and stabbed him to death.


It was further gathered that Eriana attended the wedding party with his mother, who had earlier lost an older son some two months ago, and they were invited to the occasion by the groom, who is said to be their neighbour.


The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the development, said the suspect has been apprehended.
