Ghali Na’abba, Former Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Has Died

Former speaker of the House of Assembly, Ghali Umar Na’abba is dead.

PurpleWorld gathered that Na’abba died on Wednesday morning at the National hospital in Abuja after a brief Illness.

He was aged 65.

Na’Abba, the second Speaker of the House of Representatives in the current 4th Republic.

He was elected Member of the House of Representatives in 1999 from Kano State. He became the Speaker a few months after the inauguration of the House following the resignation of the then Speaker, Salisu Buhari over certificate forgery scandal.
