A tragic turn of events has seen the 18-year-old footballer, Alvaro Prieto, who went missing four days ago, found dead near the Spanish train station where he was last seen.
According to Brilla Sport Radio, lvaro Prieto, a standout player for Spanish third-tier side Cordoba FC’s youth team, vanished after missing his morning train back to Cordoba following a night out with friends in Seville. Tragically, Spanish state broadcaster TVE inadvertently broadcast images of his lifeless body wedged between two moving train carriages, prompting an apology.
As at the time of filing this report, police investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
