Belgium-Sweden Match Suspended as Players Refuse to Emerge for Second Half

Belgium-Sweden game was suspended after players refused to emerge for the second half, Fabrizio Romano revealed.

This happened after two Swedish football fans were shot dead in Brussels ahead of the game.

As at the time of filing this report, the perpetrator remains on the loose. However, Belgian sources mentioned he is reportedly “near the stadium”.

The first half of the game was not called off by football authorities but players rejected to return for the second half
