Nigerian TikTok Influencer Bandit Flaunts Ransom Money in Viral Video

In a disturbing video that has gone viral, terrorists are seen flaunting money allegedly collected as ransom from their victims. The video has sparked outrage and concern about the growing trend of ransom payments to terrorists and its impact on public safety. The video has raised questions about the effectiveness of the government’s efforts to combat terrorism and protect its citizens.

A series of tweets by security expert Zagazola Makama revealed a disturbing video of terrorists flaunting money allegedly collected as ransom.

The tweet said: “Audacity: Bandit on Tiktok flaunting and showing off ransom money he collected from his victims.

“The user of the account has 3000 followers, some of them are bandits who openly show off their rifle and dressed in military or police uniforms. 

“Tiktok platform has given room for insurgents to promote their campaign of terror without being restricted.” 

A new report has revealed that 3495 people were abducted in 582 kidnap-related incidents across Nigeria between July 2022 and June 2023. The report highlights the alarming rise in kidnapping in the country, and raises serious concerns about the safety of citizens.
