IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu Requests Transfer to Kuje Prison

IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu has requested that the Federal High Court transfer him from DSS custody to Kuje Prison. Kanu’s lawyers have stated that the conditions of DSS custody are preventing him from receiving proper medical care and family visits, which are vital to his well-being. The IPOB leader has also alleged that his human rights have been violated by the DSS.

“People will come to see me they will not allow them. They don’t have a medical facility. I have congestive heart failure. They are patching me up.

“My foot is swollen. I asked them to conduct surgery, and they said they couldn’t. There is a conspiracy to die in detention. I want to be transferred to Kuje,” Nnamdi Kanu was quoted saying at the court today.
