2023 Presidential aspirant, Omoyele Sowore has been assaulted, then arrested by the men of the Nigerian Police, at SARS Headquarters, Apo, Abuja.
Sowore alongside Deji Adeyanju, Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi, and other many others were at the SARS headquarters to make an appearance, following the allegation from the Nigerian Police that he “jumped bail”, also to know the charges that have been filed against him.
PurpleWorld earlier reported that, Abubakar Marshal, Sowore’s lawyer was arrested last Friday, and has since been in remand at Keffi Prison, on the claim that his client, Omoyele Sowore jumped bail.
Reports reveals that the police officers had attacked them from the entrance, debarring them from entering.
Reports have it that Deji Adeyanju was heavily assaulted, and lawyers from Tope Temokun’s and Pelumi Olajengbesi’s Chambers were equally assaulted.
Pressmen were equally arrested and their gadgets, destroyed.
Juwon Sanyaolu, Femi Adeyeye,Ade Adewumi(A3), Luke Tega and others unknown yet, were arrested alongside Sowore.
