Victor Boniface has been declared out of the 2023 AFCON tournament for Nigeria due to injury.

He allegedly picked up a Muscular injury during training in UAE. Prompting his absence in the friendly match against UAE local club, Al Ghraib and The Pre-AFCON friendly match against Guinea today.

Sensational football journalist, Fabrizio Romano also confirmed.

He wrote, “Victor Boniface is out of AFCON for Nigeria due to injury.

“He’s injured his groin and will stay in Germany for treatment”, per media reports on Bayer striker.

“He’s expected to be out for 6 weeks.”
