Supreme Court Affirms Governor Peter Mbah’s Victory in Enugu State

The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Peter Mbah as the governor of Enugu State.

According to reports, the apex court resolved all the issues in favour of the governor and upheld the judgment of the Appeal Court that upheld his March 18, 2023 election.

A 5-man panel of justices led by Justice Mohammed Garba held that the Labour Party and his candidate failed to prove allegations of non-compliance with the electoral laws during the election.
