The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC Nigeria on Tuesday said new Permanent Voter Cards will be made available by November. This statement was made by the INEC Chairman Prof Mahmoud Yakubu at a National Endowment for Democracy event in Washington DC in the United States.
Mr. Yakubu Mahmoud stated that 2.7 million double registrations were flushed out of the last Continuous Voters Registration exercise conducted by the commission.
He made it known that about 50% of the new PVCs are ready for collection but yet to be distributed to collection centres.
