Heavy rainfall on Tuesday has left the entrance of the just-renovated National Assembly flooded in Abuja. This was made known in a video (playlist) released by Punch on Tuesday evening.
According to the Federal Capital Development Authority, the National Assembly Complex renovation gulped N19bn.
The National Assembly renovation project was awarded in 2021, to Messrs Visible Construction Nigeria Limited, at the cost of N30.2 billion with a completion date of August 15, 2023.
In the video, the floor of the entrance to the National Assembly was flooded as a result of a leaking roof.
