FIFA informs English clubs not to select their Brazilian players for a five-day period

English clubs have been informed by FIFA that they will be unable to select their Brazilian players for a five-day period or risk sanctions.

The temporary ban does not affect all Brazilian players but only involves players who would have been called up to the national team but were prevented by the Premier League clubs. Richarlison has been exempted because he was allowed to participate in the Olympics.
