The winner of the U.S. presidential election is not yet clear as officials in multiple states count ballots, including large numbers of mail-in votes sent in as an alternative to visiting polling places amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Neither President Donald Trump nor Democratic challenger Joe Biden have earned an Electoral College majority from the states where a winner can be determined.
Closely watched will be the results from Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, states that helped propel Trump to victory in 2016 and emerged as prime electoral battlegrounds again in 2020.
