Who is MI Abaga angry with? A review of MI Album “The guy”, Written by Caleb Smile

M.I. Abaga has released his much-anticipated album, and there has been a lot of positive reviews trailing the internet.

The ex-Chocolate City Boss and Incredible Music CEO is making a comeback after nearly 2 years of silence, and the famed rap-star came with fire this time.

The 12-track album which he titled “The Guy” consists of many groovy and super dope tracks. The album is a reflection of his life in the past years, and some social issues like success, depression, love, manliness and lots more. Most importantly, he couldn’t stop praising himself as a rap legend who created ways for many rap stars today. The title of the project was derived from M.I.’s new name, ‘The Guy’.

Many stars were featured #TheGuyAlbum, inclding Nas, Iceprince, Jesse Jagz, Olamide, Phyno, BNXN, Duncan Mighty, The Cavemen and others.

On a particular track of the album, track 2 to be precise, titled “The Hate” M.I. exhaustively exhibited his ‘legendary’ mastery in the rap game, identifying himself with such words as a ‘king’, ‘soldier’, ”Pharaoh’, ‘god’, ‘legend’, ‘lion’, etc.

He was addressing an unidentified person who he says doesn’t respect his elders anymore. Apparently, he was speaking to a fellow rapper who he identifies as trying effortlessly to rival him. In his words, ‘I made the rap game better for nigg-as like you’, ‘You should bow down when you talk to me’, ‘…From now, you’re an anonymous to me’, ‘you’re not even worthy…’ etc.

It’s true that Mr. Incredible has had clashes with some big names in the past, including Vector, Kelly Handsome, and Iceberg Slim, but in a particular verse in song ‘The Guy’, he said ‘Me and Vector are cool, even though we don’t chat on a daily.’

M.I. went ahead to say that he is 41 years old, but he became a legend when he was 30. Do you think that is true?

Have you listened to the album? Do you think M.I. did justice to his title as the ‘Rap Messiah’ in #TheGuyAlbum? What do you think about MI’s newest release? Who is MI angry with?

And most importantly, IS THE KING BACK???
