Following a video that went viral showing hospital workers filming the deceased instead of treating him, the hospital, Doren Hospital, where late BBNaija star Rico Swavey was brought to and later died, has cleared itself and staff of any involvement.

Although Rico Swavey was admitted to the hospital’s emergency room, medical personnel nonetheless provided first assistance, and the kind people who brought him in were informed of the gravity of the situation and the requirement for an immediate neurosurgical review, according to Doren Hospital’s statement.

The hospital added that it sent the sufferer straight away to Evercare Hospital in Lekki Phase.

According to the statement, a thorough recommendation letter was written and delivered to the relatives, who took it reluctantly but eventually agreed to receive it. However, before leaving the hospital, Mrs. Ify Helen Eze and the good Samaritan who brought the victim in made a video to disavow any blame for the patient’s condition.

The statement’s assertion that Rico Swavey was brought in unconscious with a Glasgow coma on 3/15 and smelling of alcohol was concerning since it suggested that he was intoxicated when the accident occurred.

Doctors were attempting to revive him, according to a fellow Big Brother Naija Season 3 ex-housemate, Alex Asogwa, who posted the news on her Twitter page on Tuesday.

However, due to the severity of his injuries from the car accident on Thursday morning, Rico Swavey passed away.
