Nigerian presidential candidate Peter Obi said on Thursday he had won Saturday’s election and he would reclaim his mandate through legal means.
“We won the election and we will prove it to Nigerians,” he said during a news conference, urging his supporters to remain calm and peaceful.
Bola Tinubu of the ruling party has been declared the winner of the election.
