There was a commotion on Monday afternoon at Ire Akari Estate Area of Soka, Ibadan, Oyo State as a furniture shop was gutted by fire.

According to ObjecTV media, the fire broke out at approximately 3 p.m, causing the residents to flee with their belongings.

Reports further revealed that a furniture store was the source of the fire and reporters were made to understand that the community members are working to stop the fire from spreading. However, the cause of the fire is still a mystery as of the time of publication.

Also, an X user, rosheethat, posted a video of the fire while calling for help.

She posted, “Ire Akari Soka right now. Anybody that can help us.”
