Victor Osimhen’s Transfer from Napoli to PSG Grinds to a Halt

The highly-anticipated transfer of Nigerian international Victor Osimhen from Napoli to Paris Saint-Germain has hit a dead end, with negotiations between the two clubs stalling due to disagreements over the player’s valuation.

This was made known in a startling update from football insider Fabrizio Romano, who stated that the highly-touted transfer of Victor Osimhen from Napoli to PSG has hit a major snag, with the French club unwilling to meet the Italian side’s demands.

He added that despite Osimhen’s personal willingness to join PSG and accept their salary offer, no consensus could be reached between the clubs, as PSG remain satisfied with their current attacking options, Kolo Muani and Gonçalo Ramos, and are not inclined to trigger the release clause or include Kang-in Lee in the deal.

“Paris Saint-Germain are not intentioned to trigger the release clause or to include Kang-in Lee in the deal.

“Osimhen was keen on joining PSG as ready to accept salary proposal… but no agreement between clubs.

“At current conditions, the deal doesn’t happen as PSG are happy to keep both Kolo Muani & Gonçalo Ramos.”, Fabrizio wrote.

Stressing further, he said Osimhen’s priority to depart Napoli remains firm, with the possibility of exploring offers from the Saudi Pro League should the PSG deal collapse.

“Osimhen priority remains to leave Napoli, he’s also open to Saudi Pro League proposals if PSG deal does not advance anymore — while Napoli want Lukaku.”, he added.
