Nigerian social Critic Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has expressed his intent to sue the Lord’s Chosen Church over its members’ controversial and allegedly deceptive testimonies.
He called upon the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to investigate these claims. Arguing that such narratives mislead Christians and may potentially harm the community.
He threatened to sue the church in a video he posted on his Instagram page.
He wrote:
“CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA get ready for me ooo,this nonzenzzze needs to stop,now them don dey get spiritual iron for head Abi? All these chosen members”
This is coming amidst growing controversy after a Lord’s Chosen Church member recently shared a testimony in which she claimed to have disarmed four armed robbers, seizing an “AK-27” weapon.
The testimony, which went viral on social media, has been met with widespread skepticism and criticism, leading VeryDarkMan’s statement.
Similar testimonies have been widely shared and it is now circulating on social media and this has raised serious questions about the credibility of the church in perpetuating such narratives.
Public scrutiny has also intensified, leading many to demand legal action and call for a thorough investigation by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to address concerns and ensure accountability within the religious community.
