In a bid to bolster support for President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima’s political prospects, the Lagos-based political organization, Mandate Movement, has announced its intention to mobilize millions of people across the nation.
Ayinde Enilolobo, chairman of the Mandate Movement, unveiled the organization’s membership drive at a rally held at the Police College Ground in Ikeja, Lagos. The group’s ambitious goal is to recruit an impressive 40 million members across the 36 states and Abuja in the next year, demonstrating its determination to broaden President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima’s support base ahead of the 2027 election.
Boasting of already setting up offices in each of the 36 states, the Mandate Movement chairman, Ayinde Enilolobo, revealed that the group is primed to launch its state chapters as early as July 2024.
Among the sea of attendees were influential leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from all corners of the nation.
