Three trucks of the Nigerian Army officials mobilized to repress protesting students in TASUED

Three trucks of the Nigerian Army officials have been mobilized to repress protesting students of the Tai Solarin University of Education.

According to activist Sanyaolu Juwon he said:

“One year after the army were mobilized to kill protesters at Lekki and other parts of the country, we are confronted yet again with a similar development in Tai Solarin University of Education, TASUED. Three trucks of the Nigerian Army officials have been mobilized to repress protesting students of Tai Solarin University of education.

At the time of filing this report, the army has abducted the students union president and other activists, keeping them under torturous condition. But the abduction of the union president could not deter the resolve of the revolutionary students of TASUED.

The students remain on the streets, and the army have been mobilized in three trucks to attack them. I spoke with the immediate past Students Union President of the institution,
Soneye Abdul-Azeez Lekan in a video call, where he showed me how the army was charging at them. You can tell they are in a very hostile and precarious situation. The regime of Buhari is a curse. It has normalized impunity and lawlessness.
Solidarity to the protesting students of TASUED”.
