TASUED Final Year Student Reportedly Dragged Out of Exam Hall and Murdered by Suspected Cultists

Tragedy struck Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, as Ola Fabiyi, a final year student of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) fell victim to a brutal and senseless murder allegedly committed by suspected cultists.

According to report, Ola Fabiyi,  the SUG senator and final year student was reportedly abducted from his exam hall by his assailants, who were believed to be members of a local cult. Fabiyi was brutally stabbed and shot, and his lifeless body was found abandoned in a bush nearby.

This ruthless act, which occurred on July 3, 2024, has sent shockwaves through the TASUED community and beyond.

Security personnel at Tai Solarin University of Education were said to only arrive at the scene after Ola Fabiyi’s attackers had already fled, abandoning their victim in critical condition.

He went eventually rushed to an hospital, but despite the best efforts of the hospital staff, Fabiyi was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The fateful incident occurred on what should have been a day of celebration, as Ola Fabiyi marked his birthday and geared up for his final exams at TASUED.

The heartbreaking reality, however, was that he would not live to see another day, with his life cruelly cut short by alleged cult members in what has been described as a targeted attack.

Meanwhile, both the university authorities and the police are yet to comment on the incident as at the time of filling this report.
