Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Touch Down in Lagos


The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have touched down in Lagos, Nigeria, marking the final leg of their three-day visit to Nigeria.

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, captivated onlookers as she arrived in Lagos donning a chic white shirt paired with a traditional Nigerian aso oke wrapper.

Reports revealed that they  were warmly welcomed by Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM). As a token of appreciation, Dabiri-Erewa presented the Duke and Duchess with his and hers traditional Aso-Oke outfits, which Meghan was seen wearing during their arrival in Lagos.

Also, they are expected to meet with the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at Lagos House in Marina.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle embarked on a three-day visit to Nigeria on Friday, marking their first international trip since stepping away from full-time royal duties in Britain. Their journey aimed to promote the Invictus Games, an Olympic-style sporting event founded by Prince Harry in 2014 to aid the rehabilitation of wounded and sick servicemembers and veterans.
