Police rescue man tied up by his creditor over N4.6m debt

The Lagos Police Command have rescued one Reuben Alozie, who was tied up over an alleged N4.6m debt.
The action was taken by his creditor, Oluchi Okoye, at 29, Abeokuta Street, Ebute Metta, from September 22 to 23, 2021.

Police operatives from Denton Division arrested Okoye following a complaint by the victim’s wife that the suspect deprived her husband his right to liberty and held him hostage.

However, Okoye insisted that he resorted to self help after several efforts to recover his money from the victim failed.
