Police Breaks Commercial Bus Driver’s Head In Delta, Over Refusal To Offer N200 Bribe

A policeman, Audu Paul, attached to the Delta State Command has hit a plank on the head of a commercial bus driver over his refusal to part ways with N200 bribe at a checkpoint along Abraka-Sapele Road.


The driver identified as Godwin Akpama had his head and body soaked with blood after the attack on him by the policeman.


He was conveying some female traders in a bus with registration number AKL 681 YP from Abraka to Sapele when he was stopped by the policemen at the checkpoint.


The police in Delta on Sunday said policemen involved in the act had identified Including Paul, who allegedly assaulted the commercial bus driver by breaking his head with a plank.
