A 26-year-old Nigerian student, identified as Victoria, has passed away in the UK after experiencing a sudden seizure.
The Nigerian community in the UK confirmed Victoria’s death on Tuesday, July 9th, with a statement expressing their condolences and sadness over her sudden loss.
Victoria, who had arrived in the UK to pursue a Master’s degree in Cyber Security, passed away on July 4th, her promising academic future cut tragically short.
“Dear Nigerians in the UK, we’re deeply saddened by the loss of a Nigerian in the UK who passed away on the 4th of July,” the statement read.
“Victoria came to the UK as a Masters student studying Msc Cyber Security. At just 26 years old, she was a vibrant and joyful soul, full of life and dreams. Her beautiful smile was contagious and created a loving atmosphere to all within her presence
“She tragically passed away following a seizure. She has no family in the UK. Let us come together as a community and support her family in this difficult time. Any help you can provide to get her body back to her family in Nigeria will be deeply appreciated.
