Some senators showed up at the Westminster Magistrates Court for the trial of the former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice.
The Ekweremadus are in court on charges of organ harvesting and have been in custody since late June 2022.
Seen at the court were, chairman of the Senate committee on foreign affairs, Adamu Bulkachuwa, former president of the Senate, David Mark, former minister of state for education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba and a delegation from the Nigeria high commission.
