Nigerian Army Reportedly Intercepts Truck Loaded With Live Cartridges Heading For Anambra From Mali, Through Ogun State

The Nigerian Army has reportedly intercepted a truck loaded with thousands of live cartridges at Ajilete-Owode Road in the Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The exhibit which was conveyed through Idiroko international border, was heading to Onitsha in Anambra State, southeast Nigeria, the source revealed.

The two suspects arrested were identified as Mr. Eric Sewirvor, a Ghanaian citizen and Mr. Lukman Sani from Ogun State.

The live ammunition was said to be a total of 20,500.
