A Magistrate Court in Lagos’ Yaba district has exonerated singer Naira Marley, music promoter Sam Larry, Primeboy, and Opere Babatunde, the former manager of the late singer Mohbad, from any involvement in Mohbad’s tragic demise.
The court’s ruling, which comes after a thorough examination of the case, effectively clears the names of all four individuals, Galaxy TV revealed.
The ruling followed legal advice from the Lagos Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP), which stated that the individuals had no case to answer.
However, the court ordered the prosecution of auxiliary nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe and Mohbad’s friend Ayobami Sadiq for reckless and negligent acts under Lagos State law.
The duo will face trial at the Magistrate Court.
