
Lagos-based musician Mukaila Senwele, a beloved figure in the Nigerian music scene has tragically passed away on Friday night.
Originally from Ilorin, Kwara State, Senwele’s unexpected death has left fans, friends, and family in a state of shock and mourning.
According to a family member, the musician’s death came without any prior warning. “He showed no symptoms of sickness. He spent the day with his fans and had even promised to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later that evening,” the source revealed.
Tragically, the family was later alerted to his deteriorating condition while he was still with fans. He was rushed to the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital (KWSUTH) and subsequently transferred to Balogun Hospital in Eruda, where he passed away.
Mukaila Senwele was beloved for his popular catchphrase, “Koni Da Fun Ebo To Se Costay,” which resonated deeply with his audience and became a signature of his artistry.
He was laid to rest on Saturday morning, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by his fans and the music community. His untimely departure is a significant loss to the Lagos and Kwara State entertainment scenes.
