Veteran Nigerian singer, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as Tuface or 2Baba, has stirred fresh controversy with his remarks on male sexuality and monogamy.
In a recent interview with media personality Nedu, the award-winning musician asserted that men are not naturally wired to be sexually exclusive to one woman, even if they are emotionally committed.
“Speaking for myself, I’ll say men are not built to be with only one woman sexually,” he said. “A man can truly love a woman and give her his heart, but when it comes to sex, it’s not easy. That’s just how a man’s biology works.”
He added that this natural tendency has caused many men problems and suggested that society might avoid heartbreaks and stress if it openly acknowledged this reality.
His comments quickly went viral, sparking widespread debate online. While some users supported his views as a reflection of human nature, others condemned them as a weak justification for infidelity.
Tuface, 49, is a father of seven children from three different women: Sumbo Ajaba, Pero Adeniyi, and Annie Macaulay.
He announced his separation and impending divorce from Annie in January 2025. Since then, he has openly expressed affection for Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
