The Lagos State Government has announced plans to reintroduce the suspended monthly environmental sanitation exercise.

The Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, made this known on Sunday during an inspection tour of Idi-Araba, Orile Iganmu, and Alaba Rago in Ojo Local Government Area.

Wahab stated that the sanitation exercise will play a critical role in restoring environmental discipline, improving waste management, and curbing the risk of flooding across the state.

PurpleWorld will continue to monitor developments around the planned reintroduction and provide timely updates as the implementation process unfolds.
