In a tragic incident on August 5, a man was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing his 8-year-old son in the Epe area.

Eyewitness accounts reveal that the suspect reportedly flew into a rage upon realizing that his son had misplaced a sewing thread he had asked for.

In anger, he doused petrol on his son. The petrol had adverse effect on the boy, causing him to vomit white substances.

The suspect then proceeded to give the minor some palm oil to drink so as to ease the pain the petrol had caused on his body. Sadly, the minor lost consciousness and he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead on arrival by the doctors.

Confirming the incident, SP Benjamin Hundeyin made it known that an autopsy will be carried out on the remains of the deceased while the suspect will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Yaba for further investigation.

More details shortly…

Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips for rookie blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.
