The family of Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, is set to battle it out in court over the custody of Liam, the late singer’s son. At stake is a DNA test, which may be used to determine Liam’s paternity and resolve the dispute between his mother and grandfather.

A statement from the family’s legal team, signed by Monisola Odumosu, confirmed the court hearing and the family’s intention to use DNA testing to resolve the custody dispute.

In an interview, Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer, revealed that he has filed a legal action to obtain a DNA test for his grandson, Liam. Aloba stated that the test is necessary to confirm Liam’s paternity and ensure that he is cared for by the appropriate family member.

In a statement titled ‘Aloba family seeks court order for DNA test on Liam,’ the family’s legal representative, Monisola Odumosu, stated that the family is taking all necessary legal steps to ensure that the DNA test is conducted. The statement made clear that the family is determined to find a resolution to the dispute through the legal system.

The family’s legal representative added that they are seeking a court order requiring that the DNA test be conducted in a government or private medical facility that is recognized and accredited by the state, and that the applicant will pay for the cost of the test. This will ensure that the test is conducted in a professional and reputable setting.
