Bello Donates Vehicle to Church after victory at the supreme court

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has donated a brand new 18 seater bus to United Evangelical Church, Lokoja parish to aid evangelism.
The Governor made the donation today in Lokoja shortly after the Supreme Court ruling that validated his reelection.
The Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja who made the presentation of the vehicle on behalf of the governor said it was in fulfilment of the pledge made to the church in January.
He urged the church to utilize the vehicle effectively, and to always preach unity and tolerance amongst the people, saying that it is the hallmark of the Governor Bello administration.
Receiving the vehicle on behalf of the parish, Reverend Elijah C. O, thanked the Governor for the gift.
He said, Governor Bello, despite being a Muslim has displayed an undoubted humane disposition towards spreading the gospel, adding that the Governor’s stance on religious harmony was responsible for the overall peace in the state.
While congratulating the Governor and his Deputy over the Supreme Court victory, Rev. Elijah prayed for more wisdom and strength as they continue to deliver good governance to the people of the state.
