Kaduna Security Commissioner’s Phone Reportedly Stolen During Security Event
Barrister Sule Shu’aibu, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs had his mobile phone stolen during a government event focused on improving safety and surveillance in Kaduna state.
According to Leadership Newspaper, the incident happened in Kaduna metropolis at a high-level meeting attended by senior government officials, security agencies, and community leaders.
Despite the tight security around the venue, unknown persons reportedly managed to steal the Commissioner’s phone in the middle of the program.

As of the time of this report, the Kaduna State Government has not issued an official statement. Leadership noted that efforts are still being made to track down the stolen phone.
Security experts who spoke to the newspaper said the case highlights the need for better security coordination and stricter event monitoring, particularly during official functions involving high-ranking officials.
